Ingredients

  • Wild boar meat - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Red onion - 1, diced
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Radishes - 4, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Salsa verde - 1/2 cup

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the wild boar meat with olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  3. Once the grill is hot, place the marinated wild boar on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  4. Remove the wild boar from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.
  5. While the meat is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the sliced wild boar on each tortilla. Top with diced red onion, chopped cilantro, sliced radishes, avocado, and a drizzle of salsa verde.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Tacos de Jabalí!
