- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Red onion - 1/4 cup, diced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Salsa verde - 1/4 cup
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated flank steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
- While the steak is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- Assemble each taco by placing a portion of sliced steak on a tortilla, then top with chopped cilantro, diced red onion, avocado slices, and a spoonful of salsa verde.
- Serve the tacos hot and enjoy your high-protein breakfast!
