Ingredients
- Ground beef (80% lean) - 300 grams
- Taco seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, diced
- Red onion - 50 grams, diced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the salsa by combining diced cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
