Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80% lean) - 300 grams
  • Taco seasoning - 2 tablespoons
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, diced
  • Red onion - 50 grams, diced
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the salsa by combining diced cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
