- Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Shrimp - 150 grams, peeled and deveined
- Squid - 100 grams, cleaned and sliced
- Fish fillet (white fish) - 100 grams, cut into chunks
- Corn tortillas - 2, cut into strips (for garnish)
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Add the diced red bell pepper and tomato to the pot, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Pour in the fish stock or water, and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Stir in the chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
- Add the shrimp, squid, and fish fillet to the pot, and let the soup simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat.
