Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup

  • Cream cheese - 90 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chorizo (cooked and crumbled) - 100 grams
  • Queso Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese (for topping) - 1 cup
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sour cream - for serving
  • Jalapeños (sliced) - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape it into a round pizza crust, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. While the crust is baking, cook the chorizo in a pan over medium heat until browned and crispy. Set aside.
