  • Jalapeño - 1, finely chopped (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Tortillas (corn or flour) - for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and jalapeño (if using) to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the mushrooms are tender and have released their moisture, about 5-7 minutes.
