- Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
- Cherry tomatoes, halved - 100 grams
- Red onion, thinly sliced - 50 grams
- Fresh spinach - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat, and squeeze lime juice over the cooked shrimp. Set aside.
- Spread the cherry tomatoes and red onion evenly over the pizza dough.
- Layer the fresh spinach on top of the vegetables, followed by the sautéed shrimp.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the entire pizza.
- Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the top and add additional salt and pepper if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
