- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Diced tomatoes - 200 grams
- Onion - 50 grams, diced
- Jalapeño - 1 small, diced
- Cilantro - 15 grams, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cheddar cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Cream cheese - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and jalapeños; sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, lime juice, and chopped cilantro. Mix well and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese and half of the cheddar cheese until smooth.
- In a baking dish, layer the beef mixture, then spread the cream cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve hot.
