Ingredients
- Ripe tomatoes - 2 medium (about 300g)
- Red onion - 1/2 medium (about 75g)
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped (about 15g)
- Jalapeño pepper - 1 small, seeded and minced (about 10g)
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
Steps
- Finely dice the tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Chop the red onion and add it to the bowl with the tomatoes.
- Finely chop the cilantro and add it to the mixture.
- Remove the seeds from the jalapeño pepper, mince it, and add it to the bowl.
- Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture.
