Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (e.g., tilapia or cod) - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Place the seasoned fish fillets in the skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the red pepper flakes over the fish and drizzle the lime juice on top.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish the fish with chopped parsley before serving.
