- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Granulated sugar - 50 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon

- Eggs - 2 large
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Whole milk - 100 ml
- Condensed milk - 50 ml
- Evaporated milk - 50 ml
- Heavy cream - 50 ml
- Powdered sugar - 10 grams (for topping)
- Cinnamon powder - a pinch (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a small cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the whole milk. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the tres leches mixture by combining the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream in a bowl.
- Once the cake is baked, let it cool for 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the top using a fork.
- Slowly pour the tres leches mixture over the warm cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form and spread it over the top of the cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder for garnish.
