- Red onion - 1 small (finely chopped)
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup (chopped)
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped red onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp turns pink and opaque.
