Steps
- Rinse the nopal cactus paddles under cold water and pat them dry. Remove any spines with a knife.
- Cut the cactus paddles into strips or cubes, depending on your preference.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cactus paddles to the skillet, stirring frequently. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the nopales are tender and slightly translucent.
