- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Shredded cheese (Paleo-friendly) - 1 cup
- Tomatoes - 2 medium, diced
- Red onion - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Jalapeño - 1 small, diced (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, egg, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a flat oval or rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Place the shaped dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the dough is baking, prepare the salsa by mixing diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, and jalapeño in a bowl. Set aside.
- Remove the baked dough from the oven and evenly distribute the shredded cheese on top of each piece.
