- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Sour cream - 50 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Red onion - 1/4 small, diced
- Jalapeño - 1, diced (optional)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the pico de gallo by mixing the diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño (if using), and half of the chopped cilantro in a bowl. Set aside.
- In another small bowl, mix the sour cream, lime juice, and the remaining cilantro to create the lime crema.
- Once the patties are done, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a large lettuce leaf, topping with sliced avocado and pico de gallo, and drizzling with the lime crema.
