Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder - 300 grams, diced
  • Chicken broth - 500 ml
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Radishes - 4, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1, diced
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the diced pork shoulder to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  6. Cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven, baking for 40 minutes, or until the pork is tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and stir in the lime juice.
  8. Serve hot, topped with sliced radishes, diced avocado, and chopped cilantro.
