Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Ripe avocado - 1
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Tomato - 1, diced
  • Red onion - 1/4, finely chopped
  • Jalapeño pepper - 1, sliced (optional)
  • Lettuce leaves - 2

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until just combined, then form into 2 equal patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. While the patties are cooking, prepare the guacamole by mashing the avocado in a bowl. Stir in lime juice, cilantro, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  5. Toast the gluten-free burger buns lightly in the same skillet if desired.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with a generous scoop of guacamole, diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño slices, and lettuce leaves.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
