Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and kosher salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the dough into small balls (about 2.5 cm in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
