Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Dairy-free cheese - 100 grams
  • Avocado - 1 medium
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced red and green bell peppers and red onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  5. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle dairy-free cheese over the sauce, then top with the sautéed vegetable mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. While the pizza is baking, prepare the avocado sauce by blending the avocado and lime juice until smooth.
