Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Vegetable oil - 60 ml
  • Sea salt - 1 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tbsp

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into 8 equal wedges to form triangles.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the vegetable oil, sea salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add the tortilla triangles to the bowl and gently toss until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
  5. Place the coated tortilla triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lime juice while still warm.
