  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar-free ketchup - 100 grams
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Place the ribs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2 hours until they are tender.
  6. While the ribs are baking, prepare the BBQ sauce by combining the apple cider vinegar, sugar-free ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, and chili powder in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.
  8. Once the ribs are done baking, remove them from the oven and uncover.
  9. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  11. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
