- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon

- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, or arugula) - 2 cups
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chorizo sausage, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until fully combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if necessary. Cook the chorizo patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and browned.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings. Slice the avocado, juice the lime, and chop the cilantro.
- Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
