Ingredients

  • Water - 120 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Wash the jalapeño peppers and slice them into rings, removing seeds for less heat if desired.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the salt is dissolved.
  4. Add the sliced jalapeños and carrots to the boiling mixture and stir well.
