Ingredients

  • Lobster tail - 200 grams
  • Lime juice - 60 ml
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml
  • Red onion - 1/4, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, diced
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Jalapeño - 1 teaspoon, finely chopped (optional)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced (for serving)

Steps

  1. Boil a pot of water and add the lobster tail. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the lobster is opaque and cooked through. Remove from the water and let it cool.
  2. Once cooled, remove the shell and chop the lobster into small bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped lobster, lime juice, lemon juice, red onion, tomato, cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using). Mix gently to combine.
  4. Season the mixture with olive oil, salt, and black pepper to taste. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve the ceviche chilled, garnished with slices of avocado on the side.
