  • Lemon juice - 50 ml
  • Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced

  • Jalapeño - 1, finely chopped (optional)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Avocado - 1, sliced (for serving)

Steps

  1. Start by placing the peeled and deveined shrimp in a bowl and cover them with lime juice and lemon juice. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes until they turn opaque.

  3. After the shrimp has marinated, drain off excess citrus juice and add the chopped vegetables to the bowl. Toss everything together gently.
  4. Season the ceviche with salt and black pepper to taste, mixing well.
