  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Cilantro - 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Coconut flour - 2 tbsp
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Avocado - 1 medium (sliced)
  • Tomato - 1 medium (sliced)
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 (for wrapping)
  • Lime - 1 (juiced)
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp (for frying)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed black beans, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, cilantro, coconut flour, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and heated through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing the avocado and tomato, and washing the lettuce leaves.
