- Cilantro - 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Coconut flour - 2 tbsp
- Egg - 1 large
- Avocado - 1 medium (sliced)
- Tomato - 1 medium (sliced)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 (for wrapping)
- Lime - 1 (juiced)
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp (for frying)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed black beans, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, cilantro, coconut flour, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and heated through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing the avocado and tomato, and washing the lettuce leaves.
