- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Burger buns - 2, whole wheat or regular
- Avocado - 1, sliced for topping
- Tomato - 1, sliced for topping
- Lettuce - 2 leaves, for garnish
- Chipotle mayo - 2 tablespoons, for spreading
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the shrimp, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is coarsely blended.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a bowl and add the egg and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two patties, making them slightly larger than the burger buns.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate pan or toaster until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Place a shrimp patty on top, followed by avocado slices, tomato slices, and lettuce. Finish with the top half of the bun.
