- Bread crumbs - 50 grams
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato, sliced - 1
- Avocado, sliced - 1/2
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Hot sauce (optional) - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the white fish fillets, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro. Mix well until the fish is thoroughly coated with the spices.
- Add bread crumbs and the beaten egg to the fish mixture, mixing until well combined. Form the mixture into 2 equal patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Cook the fish patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by lightly toasting them in another skillet or in the oven.
