- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Pineapple slices - 2 slices
- Burger buns - 2
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Sriracha sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the ground Halal beef with garlic powder, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, oregano, and lime juice. Form into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, grill the pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until caramelized.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce to create a spicy mayo.
- To assemble the burgers, spread the spicy mayo on the bottom half of each burger bun, place the cooked patty on top, add the grilled pineapple, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro.
- Top with the other half of the burger bun and serve immediately.
