Steps
- In a saucepan, bring 1 liter of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, add the dried hibiscus flowers and reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 10 minutes, remove from heat and strain the liquid into a pitcher, discarding the hibiscus flowers.
- Add sugar or agave syrup and lime juice to the hibiscus infusion, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Let the drink cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve the Bebida de Jamaica over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
