- Wooden skewers - 4 pieces, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Sour cream - 2 tablespoons (for dipping sauce)
- Hot sauce - 1 teaspoon (for dipping sauce)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- While the chicken is cooking, mix sour cream and hot sauce in a small bowl to create a dipping sauce.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with the dipping sauce.
