- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon

- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) - 100 grams
- Lettuce (shredded) - 1 cup
- Avocado (sliced) - 1 medium
- Sour cream - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh cilantro (chopped) - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and lime juice. Toss until shrimp are well coated.
- Spread the shrimp mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- While the shrimp are baking, prepare your tostada base by using low-carb tortillas or cabbage leaves. If using tortillas, bake them in the oven for 5 minutes until crispy.
- Once the shrimp are done, assemble the tostadas by layering shredded lettuce, baked shrimp, and shredded cheese on top of the tortillas or cabbage leaves.
- Return the assembled tostadas to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Remove from the oven, top with avocado slices, a dollop of sour cream, and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
