- Nopales - 300 grams, cleaned and chopped

- Onion - 1 small, diced
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chopped nopales to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until they become tender.
- Stir in the diced tomato, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomato softens.
- Transfer the nopales mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly on top.
- Drizzle lime juice over the dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
