Ingredients
- Ground beef (80/20) - 300 grams
- Avocado - 1 medium
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
- Red onion - 50 grams
- Cilantro - 10 grams
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated and form into two equal patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the avocado salsa. Dice the avocado, cherry tomatoes, and red onion, then chop the cilantro.
- In a separate bowl, combine the diced avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix gently to avoid mashing the avocado.
- Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf. Top with a generous spoonful of the avocado salsa.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb Avocado Salsa Burger!
