Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80/20) - 300 grams
  • Avocado - 1 medium
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
  • Red onion - 50 grams
  • Cilantro - 10 grams
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated and form into two equal patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. While the patties are cooking, prepare the avocado salsa. Dice the avocado, cherry tomatoes, and red onion, then chop the cilantro.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the diced avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix gently to avoid mashing the avocado.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf. Top with a generous spoonful of the avocado salsa.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb Avocado Salsa Burger!
