Ingredients

  • Rolled oats - 100 grams
  • Water - 500 ml
  • Almond milk - 250 ml
  • Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Pinch of salt - 1
  • Chopped nuts (optional) - 30 grams
  • Fresh fruit (optional) - 100 grams

Steps

  1. In a blender, combine the rolled oats and 500 ml of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the oat mixture into a medium saucepan and add the almond milk, cinnamon powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool for a minute.
  5. Serve warm in bowls, topped with chopped nuts and fresh fruit if desired.
