Steps
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for about 20 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Add the diced tomato, paprika, and cumin to the skillet, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the tomato softens.
