- Lime juice - 30 ml
- Olive oil - 15 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Cilantro - 20 grams, chopped
- Radishes - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Salsa verde - 60 ml
Steps
- In a bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the flank steak to the marinade, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the flank steak from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Once cooked, let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on each tortilla and topping with red onion, cilantro, radishes, avocado, and a drizzle of salsa verde.
