  • Bell pepper (green) - 1 medium, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
  • Onion - 1 medium, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
  • Bacon - 100 grams, cut into small pieces
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Corn tortillas - 4, for serving
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef cubes, olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. After marinating, thread the beef, bacon, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. While the skewers are grilling, warm the corn tortillas on a separate pan or grill.
  6. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve the skewers with warm tortillas and garnish with fresh cilantro.
