Ingredients

  • Raw shrimp - 300 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Lime juice - 60 ml (about 4 limes)
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1 medium, diced
  • Jalapeño pepper - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the raw shrimp and lime juice, ensuring the shrimp is well-coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes until the shrimp turns opaque.
  2. While the shrimp is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the cucumber, dicing the avocado, and finely chopping the jalapeño and red onion.
  3. Once the shrimp is marinated, drain a little of the lime juice if desired, then add the cucumber, avocado, jalapeño, red onion, cilantro, garlic, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  4. Gently toss all ingredients together until well mixed, then serve immediately on a plate or in bowls.
