Ingredients

  • Canned chickpeas - 1 can (400g)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Zaatar spice blend - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water, then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, zaatar, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
