- Active dry yeast - 7 grams
- Salt - 5 grams
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- Zaatar spice blend - 30 grams
- Olive oil for zaatar mixture - 30 ml
- Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt. Once the yeast is activated, add it to the flour mixture along with 30 ml of olive oil.

- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a flat round shape, about 1 cm thick.
- In a small bowl, mix the zaatar spice blend with 30 ml of olive oil until well combined.
- Place the rolled dough on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the zaatar mixture evenly on top, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
