- Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced
- Lemon wedges - 2 for serving
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a small bowl, mix the zaatar spice mix with the olive oil to create a paste.
- Spread the zaatar mixture evenly over the pita bread.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta or Akkawi cheese on top of the zaatar-covered pita.
- Place the pita bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is slightly melted and the edges of the bread are crispy.
