Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Za'atar spice blend - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the za'atar spice blend with 2 tablespoons of olive oil to create a paste.
  4. Spread the za'atar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Layer the sliced mozzarella cheese evenly over the za'atar-covered dough.
  6. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion on top of the cheese.
  7. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the toppings and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
