- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Za'atar spice blend - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the za'atar spice blend with 2 tablespoons of olive oil to create a paste.
- Spread the za'atar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Layer the sliced mozzarella cheese evenly over the za'atar-covered dough.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the toppings and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
