- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the pressed tofu into fillet shapes and place them in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Grill the marinated tofu fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until grill marks appear and the tofu is heated through.
- While the tofu is grilling, mix tahini, water, chopped parsley, and chopped mint in a small bowl to create the tahini sauce.
- Serve the grilled tofu with the tahini sauce drizzled on top and garnish with extra herbs if desired.
