Ingredients
- Fresh tuna fillet - 200 grams
- Fine bulgur wheat - 100 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mint leaves - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 200 milliliters
Steps
- Soak the fine bulgur wheat in 200 milliliters of water for about 20 minutes until soft, then drain any excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soaked bulgur, finely chopped onion, parsley, mint, toasted pine nuts, cumin, allspice, salt, and black pepper.
- Finely chop the fresh tuna fillet and add it to the bulgur mixture, then drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small oval patties or kebbeh forms, about 5 cm long.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil. Cook the kebbeh patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with a side of tahini sauce or yogurt and a fresh salad.
