- Tuna steak - 200 grams, cut into 2 cm cubes
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Tahini sauce - 4 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.
- Add the tuna cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- While the tuna is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water to prevent burning during grilling.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated tuna cubes onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the tuna skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes until soft.
- Serve the tuna kebabs on warm pita bread drizzled with tahini sauce and garnished with chopped parsley.
