- lean ground beef - 300 grams

- paprika - 1 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- salt - 1 teaspoon
- fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, black pepper, salt, chopped parsley, and chopped mint.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and the spices are evenly distributed.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a sausage-like shape around the skewers.
- Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat and brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- While grilling, brush the sausages with lemon juice for added flavor.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the Sujuk hot with a side of fresh salad or whole-grain pita bread.
