- Ground lamb - 400 grams
- Garlic cloves - 2, minced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1/2, finely diced
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty or kebab shape.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until well browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, diced cucumber, chopped mint, and a pinch of salt. This will serve as your refreshing sauce.
- Once the kebabs are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the kebabs with the yogurt sauce on the side and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
