Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 400 grams
  • Garlic cloves - 2, minced
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 1/2, finely diced
  • Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty or kebab shape.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until well browned and cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, diced cucumber, chopped mint, and a pinch of salt. This will serve as your refreshing sauce.
  5. Once the kebabs are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve the kebabs with the yogurt sauce on the side and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
