Ingredients
- 300g ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 gluten-free burger buns
- 4 slices of tomatoes
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tablespoons tahini sauce
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, mint, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2.5 cm thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the gluten-free burger buns in a separate pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked lamb patty, two slices of tomato, and a drizzle of tahini sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
