Ingredients

  • 300g ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 gluten-free burger buns
  • 4 slices of tomatoes
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tablespoons tahini sauce

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, mint, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the gluten-free burger buns in a separate pan until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked lamb patty, two slices of tomato, and a drizzle of tahini sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
