- Canned chickpeas - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the dried chickpeas to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
