Ingredients

  • Canned chickpeas - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the dried chickpeas to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  8. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
